Instructions

1. Push the ring out of the BBW cup with soft object and insert the new diffuser in the slot where the old one was.
2. If the o’ring is ok then leave it in if not change the o’ring.
3. Moisten the inside of the cup and push the ring/diffuser assembly back in to desired position.

1. Install with cupped screen facing inside cup and push flat side into cup evenly. May take a few tries to get the screen even
2. Ensure there is even gap between the screens and the screen facing the end is tight against the wall of the glass.

Instructions
1. Install the empty Glass or Ceramic Cup on your torch with a 3/32 tungsten installed
2. Install the screen over the Tungsten with the Cupped side first
3. Slide on plastic tool and evenly apply pressure to the Side flange of tool. With a little pressure the screen should seat in the cup perfectly. The screen should look like an hour glass when installed with the screens sealing against the sidewalls of the glass/ceramic as shown in the picture.

Please note. You may have to cup the screen with your fingers more if it snags on the ceramic.

The Jazzy Screen Install Tool helps install diffuser screens.

Insert the cupped side of the screen into the tool and push it into the cup until it is seated. Cup the screen more if the cup is sticky.

This kit includes screen diffusers and an install tool to help you insert them properly.

The 1/8th diffusers will increase your amperage range to over 250 amps.

Please note. Inserting the screens can be a bit tricky, but the tool helps keep the screens centered in the cup.

Make sure to install the cupped side first and push gently with the tool. You may need to cup the screens more with your fingers if the ceramic cups are sticky.

2. Moisten the inside of the Glass cup and around the oring and gently push in
3. Be careful and do not force the Brass housing. If difficult, use more moisture.

This kit includes a ceramic and a glass cup, giving you the flexibility to choose the right one for the job. The ceramic cup is ideal for welding thicker materials, while the glass cup is better suited for welding thinner materials. Please note. The diffusers in the cups are designed to work only with the Furick cup brand cups. We also recommend you buy a few spare diffusers to have, they are somewhat consumables and will eventually need to be replaced.

The diffusers must be installed like you received them installed and must seal tightly around the cup or you will have poor results.

They are designed to have a gap between the 2 layers of screens and it is recommended you install them back that way. It may take a few tries to get the screens in properly but have patience. The cupped side goes in first .

The JAZZY 10 ceramic kit includes two glass cups, 4 o-rings and one spare screen diffuser.

When welding mild steel with a Jazzy 10 Pyrex cup, you can use less gas (20-25 CFH) and still get great results. This is because the cup is designed to focus the gas more effectively, resulting in a more consistent and stable weld. The cup is also made of Pyrex, which is a heat-resistant material that can withstand the high temperatures of TIG welding. The Jazzy 10 cup is compatible with DC polarity and has an amperage rating of 175, making it ideal for a variety of mild steel welding applications.

BBW Diffusers (2pk) 1.6mm

The diffuser is a hand-made, borosilicate glass cup with an inside diameter of 0.875 inches (22mm) It is recommended for DC polarity applications only and uses 25-30+ CFH of argon flow. It is rated for 180 amps on constant amperage, but can go higher with pulse settings. The diffuser is not recommended for "walking the cup" due to the nature of the glass.

The Moose Knuckle 14 diffuser is recommended for welding mild steel, stainless steel, chromoly, titanium, inconel, and other space grade alloys. It works best on thinner and smaller to medium applications, such as header tubes, chassis tubing, and flat welding applications.

Note. For #17, #18 or #26 size torch you will need a #17 kit. For #9 or #20 torch you will need to have a 45V44 gas lens. Keep in mind that import brands yield lower results.

Instructions
Keep tungsten clean at all times
Start arc at a low amperage
Establish Arc on tip of tungsten then roll into the desired amperage. If arc wanders, clean tungsten or damage to the Screen Diffuser is possible.
Keep screen in the shape it comes with and try not to deform the screen. If screen replacement is needed make sure Screen is sealed against the walls of the cup or undesired results may occur.
