ChemMax® 1 fabric is constructed using a polyethylene barrier film laminated to a continuous filament polypropylene nonwoven fabric. ChemMax® 1 garments provide lightweight and effective Type 3 & 4 protection against a broad range of commonly used chemicals. Stitched and taped seams, a double zip & storm flap, cushioned knee-pads and Lakeland’s unique Super-B style pattern combine to make an excellent fit and an ergonomically superior garment. Taped seam means a fully sealed seam against liquid and dust ingress. Double zip/storm flap for secure protection to front fastening. Double layer cushioned knee-pads for comfort and security.

Soft and flexible microporous PE film laminate fabric – the best Type 5 & 6 protection in a competitively priced coverall with Lakeland’s superior features such as the Super-B style pattern. MicroMax® NS is a range of coveralls and Partial Body protective accessories for general Type 5 & 6 protection. Economical and lightweight, MicroMax® NS features a high Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate (MVTR) for added wearer comfort. MicroMax® NS is strong, durable and perfect for work environments where dirt, grime, splashes, and spills are present. With excellent liquid repellency (The highest Class - Class 3 in the EN 6530 penetration/repellency test for all four chemicals) MicroMax® NS fabric is an ideal solution for many applications including paint spraying, power washing (using low hazard chemicals) and waste water treatment plants. MicroMax® NS fabric also meets the highest classes in all four viral barrier tests in the EN 14126 infectious agent CE EN standard. Though for infectious agent protection we recommend a coverall with sealed seams such as MicroMax TS. The soft and flexible fabric is combined with Lakeland's unique Super-B style coverall pattern featuring shaped 3-piece hood, inset sleeves and diamond crotch gusset for a comfortable, durable and ergonomically-styled coverall. MicroMax‚® NS uses a high quality microporous PE film laminate to combine effective splash and particle resistance combined with softness, flexibility and high moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) for additional comfort. Fabric chieves the highest classes in all four tests required by the EN 14126 standard so is also suitable for viral bacterial protection such as contaminated blood and body fluids. Lab coat features open cuffs, 4 stud front fastening and two hip pockets. Offers Partial Body Type 6(PB) protection.

SafeGard™ GP uses 4-layer SMMS fabric for high air-permeability to make a comfortable garment for Type 5 & 6 applications. Features an effective filtration of dry particles with good repellency against liquids and sprays, which combined with the high air permeability (ten times that of other Type 5 & 6 fabrics) makes Safegard® a viable option in many applications where currently many more expensive and less comfortable options are used. With Lakelands’ superior Super-B style pattern for an ergonomic, comfortable and durable fit. 4 layer SMMS non woven polypropylene for high breathability and excellent comfort. MicroMax® TS uses superior microporous film laminate MicroMax® NS fabric combined with stitched and taped seams to provide a range of garments with seams fully sealed against ingress of liquids and dusts. MicroMax® fabric provides excellent protection against blood, body fluids and other possible contaminants that may be infected with viral or bacterial agents. It has been subjected to all four* tests within the EN 14126 standard for clothing for protection against infectious agents and achieves the highest class in all four tests. However, in the case of biological hazards sealed seams are recommended as standard serged seams feature stitch holes through which infected contaminants might penetrate. Thus MicroMax® TS garments are all constructed with stitched and taped seams for improved security. The MicroMax® TS Cool Suit is a version including a covered rear breathable panel for increased comfort in warmer environments. Note : In some cases where protection is required against a highly dangerous viral agent such as Ebola, a fabric with higher barrier properties, such as ChemMax®1, is reccommended. ChemMAX® 3 fabric features a UK-manufactured multi-layer barrier construction to provide protection against a wide range of hazardous chemicals. Co-extruded fabric technology means a smooth and flexible fabric that is free from the crushing and pitting suffered by adhesive or heat laminated barrier fabrics – so thickness, permeation and protection is uniform throughout the fabric surface. Multi-layer barrier film with smooth, flexible and even finish. Permeation tested against a wide range of high hazard chemicals. Double zip/storm flap for secure protection to front fastening. Double layer cushioned knee-pads for comfort and security.
