STRIP-IT material is cut into a disc shape with a central hole. The STW discs are suitable for single or couple mounting on special fixing pins.
Features and advantages of use:
They are particularly suitable for cleaning welds without removing material, with the advantage of not weakening the worked part. STW wheels are extremely easy to use even by non-expert operators. Using the discs in pairs doubles the work surface.
Main types of application:
STRIP-IT is used for the mechanical pickling of all types of welding, for the rapid removal of oxides and calamine, for the satin finish of small surfaces and for the removal of paints or other clogging materials such as salt, grease rust, oil, protective waxes.
Application materials:
Stainless steel, normal or special steels, aluminium, titanium, non-ferrous materials and their alloys, fiberglass, plastic or fiberglass, stone or wood.
