Pennine Hydraslide Oils are “universal machine shop lubricants” primarily designed for use in machine
tools which require one common lubricant for both the slideway and hydraulic system. Based on high
viscosity index solvent refined base oils, these products incorporate additives to reduce oxidation and
wear and to prevent stick-slip offering good load carrying ability and lubricity to give smooth
movement of machine tool slideways. They are suitable for all slideway material combinations and
offer rapid separation from water-based coolants.
Applications
Pennine Hydraslide Oils are primarily recommended for use in machine tools which require a common
lubricant for both the slideway and hydraulic system. They are also suitable for use as hydraulic,
slideway, gear, headstock, and other non-critical applications in machine shops where a certain amount
of rationalisation is required.
