Pennine Micron SE is a specially developed neat metalworking fluid based on advanced
biodegradable ester technology. This environmentally friendly product is chlorine free,
biodegradable, pale coloured and low odour and is relatively pleasant to use. It offers very high
lubricity, giving excellent surface finish, improved tool life and reduced power consumption.

Applications
Micron SE is suitable for use with all ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This versatile product is ideally
suited to oil mist applications, such as those commonly fitted to saws, where it’s low odour and low
toxicity give a more pleasant working environment and its high lubricity gives enhanced cutting
performance. Excellent thermal and oxidative stability also contribute to keeping the machine clean
and free from the gummy deposits associated with other fluids used in these applications.
This product is also suitable for severe grinding operations and can be used with all types of grinding
media but is especially effective with CBN which benefits from the improved lubricity.
