Features
The surface is coated with aluminium oxide grit for slip resistance and high wear resistance
Raised floor tiles are glued and screwed to the existing substrate to avoid costly excavation
Only 4mm thick
Virtually indestructible GRP that is rot resistant
Three different styles are available
Corduroy Version - Warns visually impaired people of the presence of hazards such as stairs or pedestrian crossings.
On Street Version - Indicates the edge of a footway near a crossing. Designed with 36 blisters in regular rows and columns on each tile, it helps prevent the visually impaired from inadvertantly walking into a vehicular route.
Off Street Version - The blisters on this tile run parallel in one direction, but are irregular in the other direction. This indicates that movement in one direction is safe, and is ideal for train or light rail platforms.
