If an animal enters the area monitored by the motion sensor, the device emits ultrasonic sounds and flashes of light for 5 seconds or, optionally, an acoustic alarm as well. The audio-visual impulses surprise the animals, which then flee. This ensures there is no fear of causing injuries or permanent damage. The animals are merely driven out of the monitored area. The sounds and flashes are completely harmless to humans and animals. In acoustic mode with the alarm sound activated, the PRO Solar ultrasonic animal repeller can also be used as a compact mobile alarm system for catching two-legged troublemakers or be used against birds. A large solar panel quickly charges the rechargeable batteries (4 x AA batteries, not included) and therefore ensures self-contained operation.
