ISCAR is introducing another evolution of the original HELIMILL line ? HELIDO ? a new family of tools for 90 milling.

The HELIDO family combines the most advantageous features of both the HELIMILL ? helical cutting edge and positive rake angle; and the MILL2000 ? strong construction, most suited for heavy milling applications. The thick and robust insert with 4 cutting edges is very economical when taking into account the price per corner (when compared to the single-sided inserts). There is no doubt, HELIDO is the state-of-the-art for milling insert design. Their use enables excellent performance and extremely high productivity.

The new HELIDO tools can be used for machining steel, stainless steel and cast iron at very high machining parameters.

ISCAR is introducing the following tool range:
For the H490 ANKX 0904 insert: End mills in diameters 20 to 50mm and face mills in a range of 50 to 80mm.
For the H490 ANKX 1205 insert: End mills in diameters 25 to 40mm and face mills in a range of 50 to 80mm.
For the H490 ANK/CX 1706 insert: Endmills in diameters 32 to 50mm, face mills in a range of 40 to 250mm and shell mills in a range of 63 to 100mm. The tools can machine 90 shoulders, plunge with large stepover and can perform slotting and facing operations.
All HELIDO H490 tools have coolant holes.
