5/8 FEMALE BRASS TAP CONNECTOR
Do you have an old garden tap? Are the fittings available from your DIY superstore or garden centre not fitting correctly? This is because the most common size on modern outside taps is 3/4BSP (or 1BSP on larger wall mounted taps) but if your tap could be 40 or 50 years old it could be based on a smaller 5/8BSP thread.

5/8 SIZE INFORMATION - PLEASE NOTE:
This is a connector for a 5/8" garden tap. The 5/8" refers to the size of the pipe bore not the physical dimensions. Please refer to listing photographs. When you are measure the diameter of the connector it should be approximately 22mm (this is about 0.83 inches or 13/16”.)
