7/8 BSP BRASS TAP CONNECTOR FOR OUTSIDE TAPS AND STANDARD HOSE FITTINGS
Do you have a large garden tap and can't seem to get a hose connecter fitting to screw on correctly? Do you need a connector for your garden tap? Can't get a tap connector to fit your tap? Unable to get the one you need from the DIY Hardware shop or the Garden Centre? Tried a 1 inch BSP and it was too big for your garden tap or a standard 3/4 and it was too small. Its likely you need a 7/8 BSP.
FARMERS TAP BRASS HOSE FITTING
Most large sized garden taps with 3/4BSP stamped on them are referred to as "farmers taps", the 3/4 refers to the inlet size (where it screws into the wall fitting) , the 7/8BSP is the thread on the outlet where you connect your hose pipe. Will fit any 7/8G parallel thread.
Not only will our connector allow you to connect you garden hose to your outside tap it has a solid brass construction with O-ring and washer included. Suitable for Hozelock/Gardena style fittings.
PLEASE NOTE: 7/8 refers to the BSP size NOT the actual diameter size of the fitting. Please refer to the product photographs. If you are measuring 7/8" (22mm) on your tap outlet diameter it is likely you have an old 5/8 BSP thread size.
