The position control torque arm system helps manufacturers detect and eliminate costly screw-fastening errors during the assembly process. This torque arm is designed to reduce the risk of improperly fastened screws, ensuring that every screw is in the correctly tightened in the correct sequence. A good tightening sequence ensures that an even preload distribution is achieved in the joint. Using a position control arm is like putting the eyes and ears of a quality control manager where they are needed most - right on the assembly area.

The EZ-Glider torque arms are designed to improve production and quality control during the assembly process. With the ability to bend like an elbow, the torque arm provides agility to position the tool in a variety of positions for different applications. Arm can be set at an inclination of 0º, 22.5º & 45º. The effortless handling of the torque arm provides comfortable tool operation and increased production. Includes an in-line driver clamp. Note: An additional balancer can be added to the EZ-40R & EZ-100R model to increase balancer capacity. The additional balancer increases the dual balancer capacity to 5.3 - 8.8 for the EZ-40R, and 6.6 - 13.2 for the EZ-100R.

The torque arm is ideal for assembly lines like automotive, aerospace, appliance & electronics where space is a premium and operator safety is mandatory. Note: It is recommended to use a tool balancer with the telescoping torque arms. The telescoping arms should not be used at maximum arm reach on a permanent basis. Tool Positioning Options Besides the standard in-line tool mounting position, the telescoping arm can be used with assembly tools in a variety of positions. For some tool positioning options, a different tool clamp needs to be order separately.
