Silicone-based lubricant for O-rings. Dynamic lubrication between rubber and metal parts in pneumatic systems in aircraft, automotive and industrial applications. High oxidation resistance. Wide temperature range -65°C to 175°C. Good corrosion protection.

Molykote 55 O-ring grease is phenyl-methyl silicone-based grease designed to both lubricate and seal. Its formula works by effectively swelling rubber O-rings and seals by a small amount to ensure a tighter seal. Heat stable and oxidation resistant it can operate under a wide temperature range (-65 to +175C) making it ideal for a wide range of applications.
