High quality 5356 grade aluminium TIG welding wire. Contains 5% magnesium. 5356 is the most widely used welding alloy and can be classified as a general-purpose filler alloy. It is typically chosen because of its relatively high shear strength. 

The 5356 alloy base material has a weld pool chemistry greater than 3% Mg and service temperatures in excess of 650°C. 5356 gives a high strength weld deposit with very good crack resistance. Corrosion resistance is very good especially in a marine atmosphere. 

Typical all weld metal composition - Si <0.25%, Mn 0.15%, Cr 0.1%, Fe <0.4, Mg 5.0, Al bal. Welding current DC(+)

All-round, rutile electrode that is relatively insensitive to rust or other surface impurities. It deposits smooth weld beads in all positions, including vertical down, and the slag is easy to remove. OK 46.00 is very easy to strike and restrike, making it ideal for short welds, root runs and tacking.

OK Tigrod 316L has good general corrosion resistance, particularly to corrosion in acid and chlorinated environments. The alloy has a low carbon content which makes it particularly recommended when there is a risk of intergranular corrosion. 

The alloy is widely used in the chemical and food-processing industries, as well as in shipbuilding and various types of architectual structure.

OK Autrod 4043 is one of the most widely used welding and brazing alloys and can be classified as a general-purpose filler alloy. The silicon addition results in improved fluidity (wetting action), making the alloy the preferred choice of welders. The alloy is not sensitive to weld cracking and produces bright, almost smut-free welds. Not recommended for anodising. Non-heat treatable.

Type Austenitic

High quality 309L grade stainless steel TIG welding wire. A continuous solid corrosion resisting chromium-nickel wire for joining stainless steels to non-alloy or low alloy steels as well as welding of austenitic stainless alloys of 24% Cr, 13% Ni types. 309L TIG wire has a good general corrosion resistance. The higher silicon content improves the welding properties such as wetting. When used for joining dissimilar materials the corrosion resistance is of secondary importance. Welding current DC (+)
