Our Story
Zoro was first launched in the United States in 2011 as an online-only alternative to procuring business supplies. By streamlining the procurement process for both the buyer and distributor through technological innovation, Zoro UK aimed to bring every-day low prices to a wide audience of business customers. Zoro is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Grainger family (WW. Grainger, Inc. NYSE: GWW). Grainger is North America’s leading broad-line supplier of maintenance, repair and operations products and made over $16.5 billion worth of sales in 2023. Zoro UK launched in November 2017 with just over 200,000 products, a website on a completely new stack of technology, and a small team of e-commerce and procurement specialists to support it. We have added a lot of products and website functionalities since then!
