Quality Policy

Zoro UK is a leading supplier of maintenance, repair and operations products. Our dedicated customer service team offers a fully supported order service alongside our website, available 24 hours a day. Utilising a wide distribution network allows us to meet our customers’ delivery needs. We have a stockholding in excess of £50M spread throughout the world via our partner organisations and their warehouse facilities. It is the absolute policy of Zoro to provide services that fully and consistently meet or exceed the expectations of our interested parties including our customers to ensure that services supplied are fit for purpose.

This quality policy is appropriate to the purpose and context of Zoro UK and supports its strategic direction. It is communicated, understood and applied by all staff and provides the framework for setting and monitoring of business/quality objectives through our business strategy. This policy is available to all interested parties by request.

To demonstrate, to both customers and staff, the company's commitment to quality it is the policy of Zoro UK to achieve and maintain recognition with an independent certification body as a company of assessed quality capability under the requirements of ISO9001:2015. The requirements of this system are mandatory for all company personnel and no unauthorised alterations or deviations are permitted.

Zoro UK undertakes to supply only safety equipment that fully complies with the standards and regulations relating to those products. Where appropriate, we will maintain up to date technical files to ensure that regulatory compliance information can be supplied upon request. Where products are sourced from external organisations which hold technical files relating to the products being offered, we will request confirmation that these files are current, complete, contain appropriate conformity assessment information and, where relevant, regulatory compliance certificates and will take all necessary steps to confirm the validity of the compliance documentation held by that external supplier in respect of the products being sourced.

The company have considered its external and internal issues, the requirements of relevant interested parties and our products and services to determine our scope of approval, as follows:

Scope: Head office including Customer Service, Customer Account Agents, Merchandising and Finance.

Exclusion: Our quality policy and quality management system cover all ISO9001:2015 requirements with the exception of clause 8.3 Design and development of products and services.

Justification: The justification for this exclusion is that as a supplier and distributor of finished products, there is no design function.

Zoro UK is committed to review, determine and implement changes to the quality management system in order to satisfy applicable requirements and ensure that its effectiveness is continually improved. Our processes are assessed to mitigate risks and maximise on opportunities.

The only way to achieve and maintain this policy is for every employee, in whatever capacity, to perform his or her work to the highest standards at all times.
