The OK 48.00 E7018 low hydrogen welding electrodes are a reliable and versatile choice for welding a variety of carbon steels. They deposit a tough, crack-resistant weld metal with low moisture absorption and fast welding speeds. The electrodes are insensitive to base material composition and meet the requirements of the NACE TM0177 and TM0284 standards for welding in corrosive environments. They also have low diffusible hydrogen, which helps to reduce the risk of cold cracking.
