The Planet Mortice gauge performs two operations. One side of its posts has a single pin for general marking with the grain or on end grain, and the other side has double pins adjustable to approximately 50mm for marking the layout of mortices. It's made with solid brass hardware, wear plates and fitted with a milled thumb screw in the head. The Planet Mortice gauge has an overall length of 200mm.
