SLAC-WH1 is one of the first vice stop manufactured by a machinist with the CNC machinist in mind. Its low-profile design can stay completely below the top surface of the vice to enable it to not interfere with cutting tool paths. Whether you are making 1 part or 1000 parts, the SLAC-WH1 stop will not move once you lock it down by the grub screws located on the sides. It is an ideal datum point to locate parts.
The stop has two adjustable non-marking flat point grub screws for moving the position in X axis and can easily be removed once the workpiece is clamped, this allows the component to be machined all the way round.
You can also use SLAC-WH1 on the opposite side of the vice, so a duel set up is made available on the same vice, reducing set up and loading time by at least 60 percent.
Simply bolt SLAC-WH1 to the side of the vice, set the location where you would like the stop rod position to be. Suitable for all vices whether it is 4”, 5” or a 6” vice.
SLAC-WH1 is designed and manufactured in the UK. The body is made from aerospace grade aluminium and stop rod from hardened stainless steel.
