Pin punches ideal for driving tight fitting pins out of mechanical assemblies or realigning holes to fit dowel pins. Manufactured from hardened and tempered steel. With a hexagonal body for extra grip.
Centre punches manufactured from hardened and tempered steel with a hexagonal body for positive grip. Precision ground 60 point for accurate marking of work pieces.
Cold chisels are used by the Engineering and building trades to remove waste metal when a very smooth finish is not required, cutting and chipping brickwork or stone and when the work cannot be done easily with other tools, such as a hacksaw, file, bench shears or power tools. The angle of the cutting edge should be 60 to 70 degrees, inclusive, but it is dependant on the material to be cut. When cutting metal, the softer the material is, the more acute the cutting angle should be.
