Planer blades are used when working on hard wood and soft wood surfaces to help create perfectly planed surfaces. They can also be used to chamfer and rebate edges. Manufactured from high grade Tungsten Carbide Steel and are supplied in pairs. They are precision ground with two cutting edges and reversible for extended life. The size of the blade refers to the size of the planer that it will fit. Suitable for most brands of planes including AEG, Black & Decker, Bosch, Dewalt, Draper, Freud, Hitachi, Makita and many others. Two 82mm planer blades fit most 82mm portable electric and cordless planers. Ideal for fast stock removal, for trimming doors and other surfaces leaving a smooth finish. Double sided blades can be reversed giving them twice the lifetime.
